Introducing a lithograph print from the 1920s-1930s of ‘Ahi Mahi Vadh’ by Raja Ravi Varma, an acclaimed Indian artist known for his depictions of scenes from the epics Mahabharata and Ramayana. ‘Ahi Mahi Vadh’ is an epic story from the Ramayana, featuring the demon brothers Ahi and Mahi, also known as Ahiravana and Mahiravana. It narrates their defeat at the hands of the Lord Hanuman, a significant episode within the larger context of the battle between Rama and the demon king Ravana.

This chromolithograph was crafted at the Malavli-Lonavla Press.
