Meticulously crafted and stonewashed for a refined, vintage look, this traditional rug features intricate floral and geometric patterns in rich hues of maroon, black, blue. Its distinctive hand-blocked design infuses any room with vibrant color and bohemian charm.

Traditionally, Ajrakh printing is done on fabric used for garments, saris, and home furnishings. For the first time, we’ve applied this heritage craft to our Warangal-woven dhurries. Each dhurrie has been carefully sent to Kutch for the authentic handblock printing process, resulting in a unique fusion of craftsmanship from two iconic weaving and printing traditions.

What is Ajrakh?

Ajrakh is an ancient form of block printing that uses natural, resist-dye techniques involving indigo, madder, and other plant-based colors. Originating in Kutch, Gujarat, Ajrakh textiles are known for their deep indigo blue and rich madder red tones, arranged in intricate geometric and floral patterns. The name “Ajrakh” comes from the Arabic and Persian word Azrak, meaning “blue.”
