During our search for rare treasures, we fell in love with the timeless beauty of Kerala’s traditional boat lamps—their graceful silhouette, rich heritage, and quiet elegance. That admiration inspired us to create something entirely our own.
Introducing Nouka, an exclusive three-layer boat lamp, thoughtfully designed and handcrafted exclusively for 9 Petals – The Studio.
Inspired by the traditional Kerala boat lamp, Nouka reimagines the classic form with three beautifully balanced tiers. The top boat is designed as a functional oil lamp, while the two lower boats can be adorned with fresh flowers, petals, or festive décor. Each boat swivels independently, allowing the composition to come alive from every angle, and each layer is fully removable for convenience.
Handcrafted in solid brass by skilled artisans, Nouka celebrates India’s enduring metalworking traditions while introducing a design found nowhere else. Whether displayed during festivals, daily prayers, or as a striking centerpiece, it brings together light, beauty, and heritage in one timeless creation.
Created with immense care and produced in a very limited quantity, Nouka is more than a lamp—it’s a signature piece that reflects the spirit of 9 Petals – The Studio.
