Presenting the Mangalam Lamp, an exquisite antique bronze oil lamp paired with a matching spoon, nearly a century old and carefully sourced from the rich heritage of Kerala.
This lamp stands out for its uniqueness, featuring a Theyyam chest at one end—a rare and extraordinary detail. It also features a distinctive key-shaped Diya at the front, paired with a deep oil reservoir in the center. An elegant peacock-headed spoon, linked to the lamp by a bronze chain, accompanies this design, combining utility with aesthetic grace.
The spoon, used for pouring oil into the lamp, is a symbol of elegance and refinement. Its long, broad, tapering handle is inspired by the architecture of traditional South Indian temples, infusing your space with a sense of spirituality and history.
Aligned with the Hindu belief in Akhanda Jyot (the eternal flame), this lamp is thoughtfully crafted to burn continuously, symbolizing the everlasting light of wisdom and devotion. Its oil reservoir is designed to be refilled without extinguishing the flame, ensuring the sacred light remains undisturbed.
Please note that vintage pieces come with small imperfections, that's a part of its beauty and age.
