This exquisite vintage brass multi-wick ritual lamp is a stunning testament to traditional Indian craftsmanship and sacred artistry. Known as a Panch Pradip, this piece features five meticulously detailed, petal-shaped oil wells arranged in a semi-circular, openwork formation. At the center stands a beautifully sculpted Deepalakshmi figure—the goddess of light and prosperity—gracefully holding a primary, central single wick bowl. The multi-tiered configuration allows for a magnificent display of flame when fully lit, creating an enchanting interplay of light and shadow.
The artistry extends beautifully down the elongated handle, which is adorned with twin stylized peacock motifs symbolizing grace, beauty, and royalty. The handle culminates in a striking, finely etched five-headed Naga, serving both as a powerful protective emblem and a balanced rear support. Rising on three sturdy, tapered legs, this heavy brass lamp possesses a remarkable structural presence and a warm, aged patina that highlights its intricate tribal and regional etchings. Perfect for sacred spaces, festive celebrations, or as a commanding centerpiece of heritage decor, this rare piece seamlessly bridges ancient ritualistic devotion with timeless aesthetic elegance.
Please note that vintage pieces come with small imperfections, that’s a part of its beauty and age.
