This handcrafted dhurrie is a stunning collaboration between the weavers of Warangal and the artisans of Rajasthan. Woven in Warangal using traditional techniques, the dhurrie is then sent to Jaipur, where it undergoes Dabu printing—a rare mud-resist method using a blend of desert sands.
Artisans apply the print using hand-carved wooden blocks, each carefully stamped to create intricate patterns. Depending on the complexity of the design, multiple blocks are layered to bring the final artwork to life. The result is a richly textured, heritage textile that reflects India’s deep-rooted craftsmanship.
